  1. Triage. Open the board. Move every card in Uncategorized to Backlog or Archived. Do not skip this — a dirty Uncategorized column poisons the rest of the session.

  2. Advance one Research card. Pick the top card in Research & Preparation. Tailor its resume section, find one internal contact, or close the specific gap blocking it. When it's ready to send, move it to Applied and log the action below. If the column is empty, pull the highest-priority card from Backlog into it instead.

  3. Follow up on Applied cards. Scan every card in Applied older than 7 days. Send a one-line follow-up or move it to Archived if it's gone cold. Log each action below.

  4. Prepare for Active Interviewing cards. For each card in Active Interviewing, write down the next concrete action (prep question, thank-you note, deliverable due date). Do it now if it takes under 15 minutes; schedule it if not.
